Callum Hudson-Odoi latest
Callum Hudson-Odoi could run-down his Chelsea contract and join Bayern on a free, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmsh Sheth.
“Option number two, he moves in the summer to Bayern Munich and people will say well that’s the worst-case scenario. Option three is a worst-case scenario, I think,” he said.
“That is if he says, ‘I’m going to stay at Chelsea, but I’m not going to sign a new contract and, you know what, I’m going to see out the rest of my contract at Chelsea and leave for free with following summer’.
“That is something Chelsea dare not contemplate.”
Eriksen wants to leave Tottenham
Andy Townsend says Christian Eriksen has decided to quit Tottenham.
“I think the player has already decided he’s going to go. I think he’s going to go,” Townsend told The Debate on Sky Sports.
“Once a player gets to this point, I don’t think you’re playing contract poker with the club. I think you’ve already made your decision of what you’re doing.
“I think Eriksen has enjoyed his time with Spurs and yes there is a new dawn around the corner with the new stadium etc. etc.
“But you’re always going to get one or two that are going to come out of there. I think he’ll be the first one to go.”
New Man Utd contract
Manchester United have agreed a new contract with Phil Jones until 2024.
The defender has penned a new deal with the club after impressing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“I am delighted to have signed a new contract. Manchester United has been a big part of my life for eight years and I love everything about this club,” he said.
“I am excited about the challenges that lie ahead of us as we prepare for a very busy period in the season. I would like to thank Ole and the coaching staff for their continued support in my development.”
Arsenal eye Grimaldo
Arsenal are in the market for a new left-back and are eying up a deal for Spain international Alex Grimaldo.
Reports in Spain from Mundo Deportivo claim Grimaldo is on Unai Emery’s radar for a summer deal.
Emery was restricted to loan signings in January with FFP issues and players at the club already on big contracts.
But he will hope to be given more freedom to develop his squad when the summer comes.

PSG are expected to return for N’Golo Kante in the summer.
