PSG host Manchester United at the Parc des Princes knowing they are firm favourites to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.
United were downed 2-0 at Old Trafford last month as Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe silenced the home crowd.
Neymar also sat out of that match but PSG didn’t seem to miss their talismanic striker.
So why will Neymar not be playing in this match – which kicks off at 8p – tonight?
Here’s everything you need to know…
Neymar: Why is PSG star NOT playing vs Man Utd?
Neymar is injured for tonight’s clash between PSG and Manchester United.
The Brazilian striker broke his metatarsal in the 9-0 win over Guingamp back in January.
Neymar scored twice that day and finished the match, before complaint of pain in his foot.
The striker had a scan and sought additional medical advice in Brazil before it was confirmed he would not need surgery.
However, he has been ruled out for 10 weeks, meaning he had no chance of making the PSG squad for tonight’s game.
Will Neymar be at PSG vs Man Utd?
Yes. The forward is expected to be in Paris for the match, as he continues his recovery.
He travelled overnight to France today and will likely watch from the stands at the Parc des Princes.
Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in a £200m deal back in 2017 – with the express intention of delivering the Champions League to the Qatari owners.
He failed in his first season at the club, sparking reports he could quit and head back to Spain, with Real Madrid interested.
But so far the 27-year-old appears committed to the PSG cause, where he has a contract running until 2022.
