While Meghan is known for a fashion-forward edge, Kate is the epitome of ladylike grace.
London-based stylist Lauren Jobling told Express.co.uk each woman remained true to her personal style throughout their pregnancy.
However, she claimed the Duchesses took a very different approach to their bumps.
While Kate didn’t bring attention to her bump, Meghan did.
The Duchess of Sussex drew attention to her growing tummy with skin-tight garments.
The fashion expert said: “Both women keep their original style in tact during pregnancy.
“Kate, kept her style very classic, didn’t bring too much attention to the bump and mainly wore A line dresses to skim the bump. She kept with subtle tones and styles.”
This was particularly noticeable in the women’s approach to evening gowns.
Heavily pregnant Kate wore a dark green, loose fitting Jenny Packham ballgown to the BAFTAs in February 2018.
Meghan, on the other hand, wore a bump-hugging sequin number to Cirque du Soleil Premiere Of ‘TOTEM’ at Royal Albert Hall on January 16 this year.
Lauren said: “Meghan has stayed true to her natural style and likes to wear the same styles she wore prior to pregnancy but that accommodate her bump.
“Her colour palette is very neutral and clothing is a little more fitted to accentuate the bump.
“She also mixes it up with different lengths with skirts and blouses.”
Stylist Charlotte Balbier of All The Pretty told Express.co.uk: “Both Kate and Meghan’s maternity style has one thing very much in common, both is totally polished, well thought through and perfectly pulled together.
“Kate’s maternity style very much like her non maternity style is created using a mix from both high street and designers.
“Kate favoured some specific maternity brands along with her favourite high street go to brands and some stunning bespoke designer pieces.
“Her signature look was feminine dresses, fitted coats and stylish but practical footwear and accessories.
“Kate never looks anything but perfect. Her coming out of hospital Blue and White polka dot dress by Jenny Packham was a iconic fashion moment, every woman wished they looked like this when leaving hospital.”
Meghan is married to a British prince, so why isn’t Meghan Markle a UK citizen yet?
Prince Harry’s communication’s secretary, Jason Knauf, said in December 2017 Meghan would be “compliant with immigration requirements at all times.”
“I can also say she intends to become a UK citizen and will go through the process of that, which some of you may know takes a number of years,” he added.
