Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 34, paid a trip to the Bristol-based charity One25 and Bristol Old Vic as part of their visit to Bristol today. Having stepped inside and out of the snow, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had taken off their coats and looked much warmer than they had earlier in the day – when they were pictured outdoors amid the bout of bad weather. The retired actor, who has become something of a style icon, wore a stunning designer dress. The black mid-length ensemble was an Oscar de la Renta belted printed silk-chiffon midi dress, which costs around £1,386, according to Net-A-Porter.

Currently sold out on the website, the black dress featured semi-sheer sleeves.

It had a woodland-inspired print – with depictions of birds, flowers, and deer on it.

She teamed the outfit with a pair of olive green heeled boots.

Wearing a Sarah Flint design, she sported the Marina style, which were handcrafted in olive costa leather.

The towering heels cost around £531.

Meghan, who is currently pregnant with her first child, accessorised her outfit with an olive green clutch bag.

It’s thought she may have taken this item with her to the christening of Prince Louis back in July last year.

However, style-stealers may be disappointed to hear that it’s not known where the bag is from.

She also wore a silver pendant, and sparkling earrings.

Prince Harry looked equally dapper, wearing a chic yet casual look.

The royal wore a pair of pale trousers and a belt, as well as a white shirt.

Leaving his top button undone, he also donned a black long-sleeved jumper.

Finishing the look, Prince Harry wore suede-look blue boots.

During the visit, the pair spoke to volunteers in the charity kitchen, and helped to put together food parcels which would go in the charity outreach van – with Meghan writing heartfelt messages on the bananas to those who would receive them.

The charity specialises in enabling women to break free from street sex-work, addiction, and other life-controlling issues, and to build new, independent lives, the website explains.

Earlier today, Meghan could be seen wearing a vintage black coat as she greeted well-wishers in the snow.

Who is Meghan Markle? Quick profile

Meghan Markle was born Rachel Meghan Markle, on August 4, 1981 to parents Doria Ragland and father Thomas Markle.

Her father was previously married to Roslyn Loveless and Meghan has two elder half sibling – sister Samantha Markle and brother Thomas Markle Junior.

Actress

Meghan’s first television appearance in the USA was in an episode of the medical drama General Hospital in 2002.

She later moved on to roles in CSI, Without a Trace and Castle along with bit parts in Hollywood films including Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me and Horrible Bosses.

Meghan was also a “briefcase girl” on Deal or No Deal – but her most famous role was as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits, which launched in 2011.

She was written out in the finale of the seventh series when her character got married, which aired in April 2018 – just before she got married herself.

Charity and humanitarian work

Meghan Markle’s career in television has gone hand-in-hand with her support for causes close to her heart.

She wrote about the stigma around menstrual health in an article for Time magazine and was a Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada – with whom she travelled to Rwanda for the charity’s Clean Water Campaign.

And her commitment to gender equality has seen her work with the United Nations – receiving a standing ovation in 2015 for her speech to mark International Women’s Day.

Relationships

In September 2011, she wed film producer Trevor Engelson, who she began dating in 2004.

But the pair divorced two years later in August 2013, citing irreconcilable difference.

She was in a relationship with celebrity chef Cory Vitiello for almost two years, before they broke it off in 2016 but the two remain good friends.
