Hasnat is unable to score in an empty field, Manjurul Ahsan Munshi remains as his opponent
Hasnat Abdullah will contest the Comilla-4 constituency. His opponent will be Manjurul Ahsan Munshi from BNP. Earlier, the Election Commission had cancelled Manjurul Ahsan Munshi’s nomination papers after he submitted them. The reason given was non-payment of loans. We thought that Hasnat would contest the Comilla-4 constituency from NCP and Manjurul Ahsan from BNP. But if Manjurul Ahsan’s nomination papers are cancelled, Hasnat may get a chance to score a goal on an empty field.
Today, Wednesday, December 14, the Chamber Court of Justice Farah Mahbub announced that Manjurul Ahsan will be able to contest the elections if he completes all his cases within two weeks. Meanwhile, the Premier Bank lawyer said that he has rescheduled the loan. As a result, if the rule is settled, he will soon be free from loan default.
Hasnat was initially supposed to participate in the elections as part of the Jatiya Nagarik Party, but later they decided to form an alliance with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islam (Jamaat) and participate in the elections.
