Manchester United will face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday aiming to continue their stunning start to life under Solskjaer.
The Red Devils have won nine of their first 10 games under the 45-year-old, with a 2-2 draw against Burnley the only blot on their record so far.
Manchester United cruised to victory against Fulham when the two teams met at Old Trafford, winning 4-1 courtesy of goals from Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.
Lindelof was left out of the squad that day and, according to the Manchester Evening News, will not face Claudio Ranieri’s side this time around either.
The Sweden international has impressed in recent times.
But it appears Solskjaer wants to rest Lindelof ahead of their crunch Champions League showdown with PSG on Tuesday.
According to the MEN, as things stand, David De Gea, Sergio Romero and Lee Grant make the cut.
Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Young, Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling are also in line for selection.
In midfield, United will take Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Ander Herrera and Mata down to the capital.
And Solskjaer has named Tahith Chong among his forwards.
Also at his disposal is Lukaku, Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer has urged his United side to forget about facing PSG on Tuesday.
For him, the game against Fulham is a more pressing issue.
“Fulham is a character revealer,” he said.
“It will reveal do we have the focus on what’s important, which is always the next game and can we forget about PSG.
“The focus around the PSG game for a long time, Chelsea, Liverpool, but they’re not the games that will move us up the table, they’re the other games.”
United can leapfrog Chelsea into fourth should they win at Craven Cottage.
